The AHA’s Heartsaver First Aid CPR AED Course is designed for anyone with little or no
medical training who needs a course completion card for their job or other requirements
or anyone who wants to be prepared for an emergency in any setting.

Injury emergencies
Environmental emergencies
Preventing illness and injury
Adult CPR and AED use
Opioid-associated life-threatening emergencies
Optional modules in Child CPR AED and Infant CPR
There are two types of course options offered:
Blended Learning Online
This Option is a mixture of in class and out of class learning
The online portion can be completed in 4 hours, and the hands-on skills session can be completed in 2.5 hours

Classroom Portion
Instructor-led, hands-on class format reinforces skills proficiency
This course is a video-based, instructor-led course that teaches CPR, AED, first aid actions for medical emergencies,
including severe choking, heart attack, and stroke; and skills for handling injury and environmental emergencies,
including external bleeding, broken bones and sprains, and bites and stings.
